Dr. Edward Leigh Gibson
Nutritionist and Psychologist; Associate Professor
Dr. Leigh Gibson, a leading researcher in nutrition and behavior, has worked at several UK academic institutions, including the University of Birmingham, UCL, and Roehampton University, where he is currently an Associate Professor in Biopsychology. Since earning his PhD in 1986, his research has focused on eating behavior, nutrition and brain function, stress, and health, resulting in over 130 publications funded by governments, industry, academia, and charities. In addition to teaching psychology and nutrition at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, he serves as President of the Food and Health Forum at the Royal Society of Medicine and is a member of the All-Party Parliamentary Food and Health Forum. Dr. Gibson has also acted as an expert consultant and co-investigator for various industrial, third-sector, and academic partners.
